Everyone knows the pretty and pampered can keep it together during a comfortably-crisp 65 degree afternoon, but maintaining one’s level of “hotness” is not so easy when it’s a scorching summer day. We all know that the powder on our sun-kissed faces might wear off by the time sweat rolls down our temples, so why bother with caking it all on in the first place? Or the unwelcomed sweat marks that refuse to chill out in between our arms? …What’s the point in even wearing shirts with sleeves? You’re right ladies, there is no point. So why not stay cool and keep that fresh feeling throughout your day with whatever suits that wicked warmth most appropriately…
Here are some tips for every occasion you’re on the go… Tips that are sure to keep you feeling confident in your own skin, even when the warmest of weathers seem to rain on your parade:
Strapless / Knee-length dresses
These flirty ensembles are by far one of the easiest outfits to put together as you rush out of the house to hit the beach. Not only is it simple to throw on and easy to manage, it definitely grabs more attention than you’d expect from the little effort put into the outfit. As long as you match it nicely with a spunky attitude and are living up to the fun-factor of the dress, then no one will even notice you accidentally stepped out of the house wearing shower slippers from your freshman dorming experience.
Breakfast Beauty: Plains, solids, pastels
Lunch with the Ladies: Rainbow, floral patterns
Dinner Diva: Deep shades, bold metallics
Statement High Heels
If you’re up for the challenge these pumps will surely take you and your mood to the stars! Live on the edge and pick up that pair of heels that make you say, “OMG Jill, I’d never be able to pull those off!” GO FOR IT! They’re definitely a way to spice up your wardrobe and give those 3-year old rainbow sandals a rest. Your feet deserve more attention every now and then. Dress ‘em up with Patten-leather straps that coil the full lengths of your feet or show others who’s boss by opting for the thicker, wider heel. Heels with wider bases are a heck of a lot more comfortable than your typical stiletto, and you bet they’re a cuter fit for that beachfront luncheon you’ve got scheduled!

Steamy Swim Suits
Who cares if your bum is baring a little more bottom than it should? If that swim suit is the item you’ve circled from the day you saw it on Victoria’s Secret preview catalog, then honey, dive right in! Every celebrity seems to have the right idea with sporting the “cheeky” look out on beach, so why not go out on a limb and forget about those classic, mundane tan lines that peak out when alternating swim suits. Now don’t get me wrong, the “cheeky” but still covered up look is what we’re aiming for, one that isn’t completely blinding by it’s full moon 
So if you’ll be heading down to the shores for a flaming sesh of beach volleyball, I’d go for the 2-piece, but if you’re staying in and heating up the hot tub with that lustful hunk, go for the red-hot 1-piece that is sure to light his fire…

V-Necks
What’s more comfy than a good ol’, down to earth white V? Yup, can’t seem to think of anything else… Well that’s because it’s probably the most basic our wardrobe can handle and still look like a diva. The V-neckline is famous on celebrities like Lil’ Wayne and Lindsay Lohan, and I’d say it’s the shirt that brings out the rock-star and not the other way around. Something about the subtle display of a person’s collar bones is more of an attention grabber/knee buckler than you might think. Sometimes, all it takes is the plain white V to lock in that summer fling… They’re perfect for carrying on with your daily errands while it’s nearly a hundred degrees out or staying home and cuddling with that special someone. Either way, you can’t lose with the V-neck draped over your shoulders.

So you’re best bet with piecing together this summer’s look is to dress it up, play it down, and everything in between. Just be sure to rock it! Remember, you’re not only dressing up your body, but also your mood, so throw in that smile and sass to match!
