ISLA VISTA — The Isla Vista Tenants Union, Associated Students Community Affairs, and UCSB Housing and Residential Services Energy and Environmental Office are sponsoring a new program in Isla Vista that allows students and Isla Vista residents to donate unwanted furniture, clothing, kitchenware, home furnishings, books, non-perishable food, and recyclables for a good cause: proceeds from the sale of items benefits Isla Vista non-profits and local community projects.
Isla Vista drop-off locations include:
- UCSB’s Embarcadero Hall Parking Lot: 935 Embarcadero del Norte, Isla Vista:
Wednesday, June Ninth- Friday, June Eighteenth. Open Noon- 8PM
UCSB Residence Halls drop-off locations include:
- Santa Cruz, Anacapa, and Santa Rosa: Lawn adjacent to Santa Rosa Basketball Court
- San Nicolas and San Miguel: San Nicolas Volleyball Court
- San Rafael and Manzanita Village: Service Road between San Rafael and OceanClusters and Loma Pelona
- Santa Catalina: Parking area between the towers adjacent to tennis courts:
